Duncan W. Robinson is the Director of AI & Optimization and Principal Research Scientist at Franklin Templeton, where he advances the future of investment management through AI-driven research, portfolio optimization, and quantitative innovation.

Previously, as Director of Quantitative Insights and Data Science at Allspring Global Investments, he led a team focused on innovation, research, risk measurement, regime analysis, and alternative data exploration using statistical learning.

A former options market-maker and portfolio manager, Duncan is also the creator of several patent-pending inventions spanning alpha generation, risk management, alternative data, ESG, SDGs, data privacy, and signal evaluation. Known for transforming complex economic and behavioral signals into actionable investment insights, he has built scalable research platforms used across multi-asset strategies.

A frequent speaker on AI and quantitative finance, Duncan is recognized for fostering research cultures that connect data science, investment insight, and client engagement.

Nick Fusco is the founder and CEO of ApeVue which creates unique alternative data products to more holistically service institutional grade investor needs across primary and secondary private equity markets.  ApeVue’s launch was the first broker consortium-based pricing service to provide daily updated pricing for private stocks and establish an index benchmark which remains the most cited index to reflect timely performance of the pre-IPO space.  In addition to sitting as the CEO of ApeVue, Nick also chairs the Audit Committee on the WisdomTree Digital Trust, understanding the importance of asset valuation and fund audit needs.  Prior to ApeVue, Fusco was an Executive at Semantic Evolution, a London-based data extraction SaaS company with a backbone in AI neural networks.  Servicing predominantly private equity and credit focused clients, Nick was responsible for heading revenue growth and partnerships globally for Semantic.  Earlier in his career, Fusco built and managed various bond and derivative index services, pricing services for OTC assets, and reference data products for IHS Markit.  Nick split his professional career between New York, Boston, and London. The solutions provided by his teams were integral during the mortgage crisis and credit crunch, maintaining prominence today by helping reduce risk with greater transparency for the market. Nick is motivated by being able to tackle customers' most complex data extraction, analytics, and calculation needs possible. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Economics from Trinity College.

Adam Brown is a Vice President in the Systematic Advisory Sales (SAS) team at Morgan Stanley focused on the marketing, sales, and distribution of Morgan Stanley’s Quantitative Assets (MSQA). This entails servicing institutional clients with research, signals, and strategies to help them achieve alpha generating returns and manage risk. He has at been at Morgan Stanley for almost eight years, with previous roles of servicing institutional quant clients in the firm’s Prime Brokerage Division, and as an equity derivatives associate in cash settlements.

Amanda Widjaja is the Head of Data & Vice President at Norwest Venture Partners, a VC and Growth Equity fund in the Silicon Valley with $18.5 Billion under management. She oversees initiatives that augment the firm’s investment process using data, AI and software, from identifying interesting companies all the way to portfolio tracking, and portfolio advisory.

Prior to that, she came from Facebook as the first data hire on the Social VR projects within their AR / VR and hardware org where they shipped nascent and experimental products and was a BI Engineer at PitchBook Data.

Annabelle recently graduated from the University of Surrey with an MSc in Criminology, Cybercrime and Cybersecurity. She also holds a BA degree in Sociology from the University of Leicester.Prior to joining Neudata, she spent time assisting in research within law enforcement, with a specific focus on using data-driven approaches to inform policy. Annabelle has a particular interest in using technology to undertake research and enjoys learning about artificial intelligence within data analysis.

Artemiza Woodgate, PhD, is the Chief Investment Officer and co-founder of Integrated Quantitative Investments LLC (IQI), a quantitative investment firm managing institutional equity portfolios across global markets.

She brings over two decades of experience in designing and executing advanced quantitative strategies in global equities. Her research spans the development of novel alpha signals, the integration of alternative data, and enhancements to portfolio optimization- blending AI and data science with rigorous quantitative portfolio management.

Before co-founding IQI in 2020, Artemiza held research roles at Man Numeric and Russell Investments.

Prior to her industry career, Artemiza taught finance, economics, and statistics at the University of Washington (Foster School of Business) and the University of Auckland. Her academic work focused on accounting, asset pricing, portfolio optimization, and interest rate targeting, with publications in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Portfolio Management, Management Science, and Pensions & Investments. She holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Washington, and an MSc and BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

Outside of her professional work, Artemiza is committed to advancing gender equity in finance. She serves on the Board of Directors of CFA Society Seattle, where she currently chairs both the Women’s Network and the Book Club, and has a longstanding record of founding and participating in gender-focused support initiatives within the industry.

Catherine Clay is Executive Vice President, Global Digital and Data Solutions at Cboe Global Markets. Under Clay's leadership, Cboe's market data and access services, market and risk analytics, global indices and order and trade management offerings work in tandem, providing Cboe's global client base with more efficient and streamlined access to the company's full suite of data services and trading resources. She also assists in evaluating potential acquisitions and assessing and facilitating infrastructure investments to maximize efficiencies and agility across non-trade engine applications.

Previously, as Senior Vice President, Information Solutions, Clay led the growth of Cboe's holistic offering of indices, analytics and execution services, creating a high value offering for market participants. She joined Cboe as part of the company's 2015 acquisition of LiveVol, where she was Chief Executive Officer, after starting at the firm in 2010 as Chief Strategy Officer. Clay began her career as a clerk in Interactive Brokers' market-making unit, Timber Hill, and progressed to Lead Market Maker and Director of Floor Trading and Operations. In 2006, she left Timber Hill to co-found Thales LLC, a market-making firm on the NYSE Options Floor and on the OneChicago single stock futures exchange.

Clay holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado, where she learned the art of Zamboni driving. She serves on the Greenwood Project board of directors.

Chad Gray currently serves as Vice President of Data Science at Silver Lake. In this role, Chad leads Silver Lake’s efforts to integrate alternative data into pre-investment and post-investment activities. Chad has been active in the alternative data industry since 2008, when he launched Tech Channel Index, a real-time indicator of B2B and B2C tech spending.

Prior to joining Silver Lake, Chad held investing, operating, and leadership roles in quant hedge funds and SaaS tech companies. He has been involved in the alternative data industry since 2008 when he Chad earned an M.B.A. from MIT Sloan School of Management, an M.S. in Computer Science from MIT, a B.S. in Engineering from Northwestern University, and is a CFA charterholder.

Chip is a partner at Lake Partners, a boutique strategy consulting firm in Seattle, WA with a focus on equity investors (public and private) and corporate M&A.  Over the last decade, Chip has advised clients on how to incorporate alternative data into the investment due diligence process.  He and his firm have vetted hundreds of data products and teams, built multiple internal data platforms and witnessed the evolution of data provider pricing and business models that led to successful market traction and exits.

Dean is responsible for leading, developing and expanding Neudata’s events programme.Having spent the last decade creating, building and scaling conference and content businesses within the FinTech and Energy sectors, Dean has worked with some of the most recognisable global brands on B2B events of all sizes. Dean co-founded two conference companies in 2013 and exited through acquisition in early 2020.Dean holds a BA Hons degree in Theatre and Performance Studies from Warwick University.

Ian is the Chief Revenue Officer at Neudata, where he heads the Client Engagement group, as well as its busy programme of events. He has spent the last seven years helping asset managers, investment banks and retailers to get value out of traditional and alternative data.

Prior to that, Ian's experience encompassed analytical and commercial roles at Vodafone, Bank of Scotland and Liberty Mutual. Ian holds an MA in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, and a Saltire Fellowship in Entrepreneurship from Babson College, Massachusetts.

Ihsan Saracgil, Ph.D., is Principal Data Scientist at Visible Alpha. He is building the quant research and data science group at the firm. He works on developing new data products and partnering with academic faculty to provide original research for institutional investors. Prior to Visible Alpha, Ihsan was a consultant with expertise on big data in securities trading for broker-dealers and exchanges, across various asset classes. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Michigan where he dissertated on macro-prudential policy for banks and portfolio management.
