Dan is Founder of It's Pronounced Data, a consulting and media business focused on the data and information services sector. His career experience spans startups through Fortune 500 organizations, including senior roles at Henry Schein (NASDAQ: HSIC) as Executive Director of Data Strategy, FactSet (NYSE: FDS) as SVP, Senior Director of Partnerships, and Datavore Labs as CEO leading the company to acquisition by Above Data in 2020. In addition to his executive roles, Dan serves as an Advisor to multiple data companies including Bobsled (data delivery), Exabel (data platform), Gulp Data (data valuation), and Intangiable (IP data).

Danny West leads a team of attorneys at Two Sigma that advise the firm’s research and engineering teams on how to appropriately acquire and leverage big data in the financial markets.

He is involved in every aspect of the firm’s data onboarding process, including diligencing novel alternative datasets and developing scalable data and privacy-related policies, procedures and controls.

Prior to joining Two Sigma, Danny was assistant general counsel at American International Group, Inc. (AIG), working with the firm’s big data and science teams to develop cutting-edge healthcare / financial tools and technologies, often utilizing strategically de-identified and/or aggregated data.

Dmitry (Mitya) Miller is a Senior Vice President and General Manager of Aquata, Arcesium’s comprehensive self-service data platform purpose built for the investment management industry. Mitya is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Aquata business, including P&L ownership, customer base growth, customer delivery and engagement, and product roadmap.

Previously, Mitya was the head of Arcesium’s Technical Relationship Management and Forward Deployed Teams where he led global teams of solution architects, software engineers, project managers, and data specialists delivering solutions to our clients’ most complex business and technology challenges.

Mitya has over 20 years of experience building software platforms for portfolio management, valuation, security and reference data mastering, and enterprise data management. In addition, he is an expert in investment management technology, cloud architecture, and the data landscape in asset management.

Eugene Miculet is the Global Head of Data Strategy & Sourcing at WorldQuant, where he leads the firm’s data sourcing initiatives in support of its quantitative and quantamental strategies across multiple asset classes. Prior to joining WorldQuant in 2017, he held numerous positions at Bloomberg, most recently serving as an equity and derivatives product specialist. Eugene holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MA in Quantitative Methods from Columbia University, and a BA in Economics from Clark University.

Farah started in the alternative data space by providing patent intelligence to public and private equity investors. In conjunction, Farah worked with corporate research & development departments from a broad range of industries.

Farah has an LLB in Law from Durham University.

Ian is the Chief Revenue Officer at Neudata, where he heads the Client Engagement group, as well as its busy programme of events. He has spent the last seven years helping asset managers, investment banks and retailers to get value out of traditional and alternative data.

Prior to that, Ian's experience encompassed analytical and commercial roles at Vodafone, Bank of Scotland and Liberty Mutual. Ian holds an MA in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, and a Saltire Fellowship in Entrepreneurship from Babson College, Massachusetts.

Jason has 38 years of working experience in the capital markets, of which the past 28 years relate directly to the Market, Research and Reference Data practices. Combining vendor, sell-side, buy-side, and exchange experience, Jason's intent is to bring a quality voice from the buyside/consumer camp that is both advocacy leading and practically workable, striving to bring both relationship management and longer-term perspective as the essential attributes and goals.

Jessica advises leading private fund managers on regulatory and compliance issues relating to the use of alternative data, expert networks and other forms of non-traditional research, and emerging technologies like generative AI.

She provides guidance on every stage of the onboarding process, from contract negotiations and due diligence to data integration, and counsels new and existing users on developing policies and procedures that are consistent with the expectations of the SEC and other regulators. Jessica also has extensive experience in negotiating licensing agreements, cloud services agreements and other third-party vendor agreements, and in establishing policies and procedures designed to address the related risks.

Having started her career at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP in the Investment Management Group with a focus on fund formation, and subsequently having worked in house for 10 years prior to returning to the firm, Jessica has advised on both the business and regulatory aspects of operating private investment funds. Through this experience, Jessica gained an understanding of the differing needs of the front, middle, and back office that she brings to her practice today.

John is the Head of Sales for Financial Services at Placer.ai. Before joining Placer in 2023, he was the Head of Sales for the Investment vertical at Similarweb. John has spent the last 10 years in the data space helping startups improve their internal and external sales processes to enable scaled operations. His focus the last 5 years of his career has been in working with systematic and fundamental teams in their use of data across the investment lifecycle in both public and private markets.

Julia has over four years of experience as an analyst and account manager in consulting and financial services. Prior to Neudata, Julia worked at Macrobond Financial, the Foresight Factory and Gatehouse Advisory Partners. As an analyst, she covered a broad range of topics and sectors, including consumer trends, retail investing and the global macroeconomy.

Julia holds an MSc in Economy, Risk and Society from the London School of Economics and a BA in Economics, Politics and Sociology from the University of Westminster.

Prior to joining Mane Global, Kanwal spent five years in the alternative data space at 7Park Data as a Data Scientist catering to clients on the buy side. She holds a Master of Science in Finance and Risk Engineering from NYU and Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from LUMS, Pakistan.
