AI has long been positioned as a solution to key clinical and operational challenges across healthcare systems. Yet the extent to which these tools have been integrated into day-to-day practice, and where they deliver the greatest value to healthcare professionals (HCPs), remains unclear. In this article, we examine a recent study evaluating the real-world uptake of AI tools, the benefits they have delivered in practice, and the key barriers that continue to limit broader adoption.
