Quantitative clients have been turning away from using footfall data to gauge Japanese discretionary consumption as Covid’s impact wanes. The focus on Japanese location data use is now leaning towards fundamental strategies. In this report, we highlight datasets that can shed light on Japan’s commercial, leisure and hospitality facilities and industrial activity.
