Beth is a Data/Data Science Operating Partner with 20+ experience building Decision Systems.  She supports PE-backed growth oriented companies in achieving top line growth and scale through Data Science integrated Product vision, Data Monetization and overall Data Strategy execution.

Previous to launching her own firm, she led Data Driven Value Creation efforts as an Operating Advisor for Warburg Pincus.  Beth has led operationally-oriented deep diligence and decision system development roles at institutions including Goldman Sachs and Private Equity firm Littlejohn.   She completed a Masters Degree and Post Grad work in Data Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) and an undergrad from Rutgers University.

Prior to founding Seven Eight, Steve co-managed the Statistical Arbitrage Group at IVC Americas. Steve previously worked as a quant trader on the proprietary trading desks at both Lehman Brothers and Bank of America Merrill Lynch and as a Portfolio Manager at WorldQuant.

He has an extensive background in applied mathematics and finance, holding a BS in Finance with a minor in Mathematics from Fordham and an MS in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University.

Steve has given guest lectures on quantitative finance at Carnegie Mellon University, MIT, and University of Chicago and as part of the “How I Became a Quant” series for the International Association for Quantitative Finance. He also sits on the alumni admissions committee for Carnegie Mellon University's MS in Computational Finance.

Adam Brown is a Vice President in the Systematic Advisory Sales (SAS) team at Morgan Stanley focused on the marketing, sales, and distribution of Morgan Stanley’s Quantitative Assets (MSQA). This entails servicing institutional clients with research, signals, and strategies to help them achieve alpha generating returns and manage risk. He has at been at Morgan Stanley for almost eight years, with previous roles of servicing institutional quant clients in the firm’s Prime Brokerage Division, and as an equity derivatives associate in cash settlements.

Adam is a Partner at Pinegrove Capital Partners, where he leads the data science

group. In this role, Adam is responsible for spearheading research and development of

advanced analytics solutions.

Previously, Adam lead Berkshire Partners’ data science group. In this role, Adam

harnessed internal and external data in public and private equity investing and drove

data science and engineering initiatives across the investment lifecycle: algorithmic

sourcing, data-driven due diligence, and portfolio company value creation.

Prior to joining Berkshire, Adam worked as a Research Scientist at Harvard Medical

School’s Predictive Medicine Group. In this capacity, he developed advanced predictive

models in Medicine and Pharma.

Adam’s background as a Data Scientist spans various sectors, employing advanced

computational methods and artificial intelligence in steering strategic decisions and

crafting innovative, data-driven solutions.

Adam is an MIT System Design and Management Fellow. He received a B.A. from

Harvard University and an M.S. from MIT.

Amarachi Miller is the VP of Product & Commercialization at AnthologyAI (parent company of Caden), spearheading the teams and development of the Caden consumer application and the Anthology suite of enterprise data, AI and ML products. Amarachi joined the company after a decade of software and data product leadership experience; most recently leading the team building measurement and optimization tools at healthcare marketing platform DeepIntent, retail measurement platforms at Amazon advertising and leading product management and data science teams at Paramount (fmr. ViacomCBS) and GroupM. A recognized leader in decision science, advanced TV and measurement, Amarachi has sat on the Product Council at OpenAP and various IAB working groups and collaborated across publishers, data originators, software service providers, and the media agency umbrella.

Andreas Zagos, a graduate of chemical engineering from the University of Stuttgart, embarked on his professional journey at the Fraunhofer Group in Stuttgart, specializing in innovation management and patents.

In the year 2000, he co-founded InTraCoM GmbH, a company offering services and software for patent research and analysis. One of his most significant contributions was the development of an indicator-based patent valuation method, which utilizes advanced AI, ML, and NLP technologies. In recognition of his expertise, he was appointed as a guest professor for patent management at the Technical University Cluj-Napoca in Romania in 2006.

Additionally, Andreas joined IPR Strategies Ltd. as an advisory board member in 2015, where he effectively leverages patent value data for the benefit of the financial sector. Notably, he actively contributes to the Licensing Executive Society International [LESI], serving in the IP valuation committee.

With 28 years of experience in the patent space, Andreas Zagos is renowned worldwide as a captivating speaker, often sought after to present at numerous conferences and roundtable discussions.

Aris Tentes is an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley and a member of the Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) Research team, based in New York. His research focuses on the development of quantitative signals and portfolio construction approaches, specializing in the cash equity space. Before joining Morgan Stanley, he worked as a quantitative researcher at Deutsche Bank after starting his career in finance at Goldman Sachs in London. Aris earned his PhD at New York University in 2014.

Barney joined Neudata's research team in 2021, where he is responsible for uncovering new datasets across a range of sectors including ESG, digital and consumer-oriented landscapes. Previously, Barney spent three years at an executive search firm executing mandates across ESG, distribution, investment roles.He holds an MA in History from the University of St Andrews.
