Kirk McKeown

Founder and CEO
Kirk McKeown is a pioneer of data-centric approaches to risk allocation and market understanding for investors putting millions of dollars to work. As Head of Proprietary Research at Glenview Capital and later Point72, he built systems to extract decision intelligence out of complex data sets at scale. In addition to his innovation and leadership in financial services, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and an MBA from MIT Sloan. Kirk is currently Founder and CEO of Carbon Arc, a new decision intelligence start-up that delivers actionable insights through unprecedented levels of data access, efficiency, and security.


Manish Goyal

Operating Partner
Manish Goyal is an Operating Partner in the Portfolio Support Group at Berkshire Partners. Prior to joining Berkshire in 2020, Manish was the Group Chief Strategy Officer at Singtel in Singapore. He was also previously a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he served clients both as an advisor and as a seconded operating executive. Earlier in his career, he also worked on handwriting recognition research at Microsoft. Manish received a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, an M.S. from the University of Washington, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Mark is the Head of Data Sourcing at Capital Fund Management (CFM), the Paris-based fully systematic quantitative hedge fund first established in 1991. Mark is also the creator and host of The Alternative Data Podcast, which over 120+ episodes explores the growing world of alternative data with interviews with providers, funds, marketplaces, central banks and regulators. Previously, Mark was a Senior Geopolitics Analyst at Stratfor and he holds a Masters in Big Data from IE University in Madrid and an MSc in International Business from Leeds University Business School.

Matt Carroll

Head of Data Lens Sales and Partnerships
Matt Carroll is the head of Data Lens sales and partnerships for SS&C Technologies. In this role, he oversees the business development for SS&C Data Lens. This solution simplifies investment data with one centralized solution for all firms' data needs, plus managed services to enable users throughout the process.
Before joining SS&C, Matt held senior business development roles at alternative data and research firms, including Yodlee, CFRA Research, and EPFR. Prior to his work in alternative data and research, Matt spent nearly ten years in business development and relationship management at leading buy-side firms, including Invesco and J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Matt holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Villanova University.


Michael Hejtmanek

Vice President, Corporate Solutions
Michael leads the corporate client group at Neudata. He and his team work tirelessly to help corporate clients effectively identify and source external data from thousands of data vendors. Michael has over twenty years of senior leadership experience at companies where he drove digital transformation and data-driven culture. Most recently Michael ran sales and marketing at alternative data provider Sequentum, Inc.
Michael received his MBA from the Columbia Business School in New York.


Michael Oliver Weinberg

Adjunct Professor of Finance and Economics
Michael has invested directly at the security level and indirectly as an asset allocator in alternative and traditional asset classes over his career. He has managed, lead and built investment businesses, including distribution and client relation teams.
His most recent role, Managing Director and the Head of Alternative Investments at First Republic. Previously Michael was a Managing Director, on the Investment Committee and a board member at APG, a Dutch pension, the Chief Investment Officer at Protege Partners, a portfolio manager and global head of equities at FRM, a multi-strategy investment solutions provider. Prior to that, he was a portfolio manager at Soros, the macro fund, foundation and family office, and at Credit Suisse. Michael started his career as a Real Estate analyst at Morgan Stanley.
As an Adjunct Professor of Economics and Finance at Columbia Business School, he created and teaches Institutional Investing. Michael has co-authored academic papers, including one using machine learning, published by The Journal of Impact and ESG Investing. He has researched the impact of AI on Finance for The World Economic Forum, is a former Co-Founder of The Artificial Intelligence in Finance Institute and was an early practitioner of applying machine learning and alternative data to investing, as CIO of MOV37.
Michael is on AIMA’s Global Investor Board, Milken Institute’s Global Capital Markets Advisory Council, the Michael Price Student Investment Fund’s management advisory council and a Special Advisor to The Tokyo University of Science’s Endowment. He is a co-founder of the podcast Improving Alpha: Innovation in Investing, ESG and Technology. Michael is a member of The Economic Club of New York. As a former Chair at CFANY, he received multiple awards, including Volunteer of the Year. Michael is a former co-founder of Project Punch Card, a not-for-profit organization, whose mission is to increase diversity by facilitating investment careers for under-represented groups.
He is a published author, having written for and been interviewed by The New York Times, international investment books and other media publications. He also testifies as an expert witness. Michael is a frequent lecturer and panellist for wealth management, institutional and family office organizations. He has a BS from New York University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.


Nancy Davis

Founder
Nancy Davis founded Quadratic Capital in 2013. She is the portfolio manager for The Quadratic Interest Rate Volatility and Inflation Hedge ETF (NYSE Ticker: IVOL) and The Quadratic Deflation ETF (NYSE Ticker: BNDD). Both funds are long fixed income volatility.
Nancy has been the recipient of numerous industry recognitions. Barron’s named her to their inaugural list of the "100 Most Influential Women in U.S. Finance." Institutional Investor called her a "Rising Star of Hedge Funds." The Hedge Fund Journal tapped her as one of "Tomorrow's Titans."
Nancy began her career at Goldman Sachs where she spent nearly a decade, the last seven with the proprietary trading group where she rose to become the Head of Credit, Derivatives and OTC Trading. Prior to founding Quadratic Capital Management, she served as a portfolio manager at JP Morgan’s hedge fund.


Neil Callahan

Founder and Managing Partner
Neil Callahan is a Founder and Managing Partner at Pilot Growth Equity and is based in New York City. Neil has over 25 years of technology investing and operating experience and is a successful bootstrapped software entrepreneur. He has advised many of the world’s leading technology companies on strategy, product management, sales & marketing, infrastructure and operations. Neil serves on the boards of Perthera, r4 Technologies and Velocidi and his other active investments include Bizzabo (board observer), CB Insights, Counsyl, Metabiota and Webgility. Neil’s previous investments include Zenedge (acquired by Oracle) and C-Legal (acquired by Ernst & Young).
Prior to Pilot Growth, Neil was the Co-founder and CEO of Sitaro LTD., a leading CRM software company with customers including Adobe, AT&T, Cisco, CA, eBay, eHarmony, IBM, Philips and SAP, which was acquired by CoActive Marketing Group (CMKG, now part of Dentsu, Inc). At CoActive, Neil was a member of the executive team as the President of the Digital Business Unit and as the EVP of Business Development where he led M&A and strategic partnership initiatives and completed several acquisitions. While at CoActive, Neil expanded the client portfolio into the automotive, technology, financial services and sports & apparel verticals.
Prior to co-founding Sitaro, Neil was a Vice President of Marketing Technology & Strategy for Young & Rubicam / Wunderman where he created integrated digital and media investment strategies for AT&T, Citibank, IBM and Sony. Neil began his career with Andersen Consulting as a software developer and an engagement manager, where he created technology solutions for the Fortune 50. While at Andersen, Neil developed a global trade management and reconciliation platform for an international bank, created the financial and customer management systems for a large global wireless carrier, led the product management of a local telephony product for a large global telecommunication company and reengineered the supply chain for a large North American retailer.
Neil earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies from the University of Chicago.


Nick Fusco
ApeVue
Founder and CEO
Nick Fusco is the Founder and CEO of ApeVue, the first independent source of daily private stock pricing and benchmarking data. He also chairs the Audit Committee on the WisdomTree Digital Trust. Prior to ApeVue, Fusco was an Executive at Semantic Evolution, a London-based data extraction company with a backbone in AI neural networks. Nick has extensive experience managing OTC pricing and index services from his ~13 years at IHS Markit (now a part of S&P). He holds a Bachelors of Science in Economics from Trinity College.
