WHO WILL SEE THE INFORMATION I SUBMIT?

Any information you share with Neudata is first reviewed by one of our Research Analysts before then being shared with investment managers, corporates, and private equity & venture capital firms who pay to subscribe to our private Neudata Scout portal. We may also inform these paying clients about your data products during regular research calls that we have with each client. Access to Neudata Scout is never provided to other data providers.

I HAVE SUBMITTED BOTH NEUDATA LISTING QUESTIONNAIRES  - WHAT NEXT?

You can expect a Neudata analyst to be in touch with you shortly in order to arrange a brief call in which we'll review your information with you and discuss any follow-up questions we may have about your products.

After this call, our Analyst collates the information you have provided and product listings are published on our Neudata Scout portal. The amount of time between your initial information submission and your data products being listed on Neudata Scout will vary depending on:

  • how many data providers we currently have in our pipeline, and
  • how forthcoming you are with sharing data details and supporting documents with us - the more supporting files we have, particularly data dictionaries and coverage lists, the easier it is for us to understand your value proposition!

Our process is simple and not intended to be time-consuming for data providers. Once we have the details we need about your products, we do the work of collating this and sharing it with our clients. It is possible to have your information in front of our investment clients in as little as 1-4 weeks following initial contact.

I HAVE SUBMITTED A PRODUCT QUESTIONNAIRE BUT WOULD PREFER TO COMPLETE THE DDQ LATER  - CAN I STILL BE LISTED?

Yes. A Neudata Analyst will reach out to you within 1-2 weeks of you initiating a Neudata Listing Questionnaire regardless of how far you have progressed through either questionnaire.

That said, we prefer for data providers to complete these questionnaires prior to our first call with you in order to avoid using our call time to run through these questions.

ARE BOTH NEUDATA LISTING QUESTIONNAIRES COMPULSORY TO BE LISTED?

Neither questionnaire is compulsory, however, in the absence of a Product Questionnaire submission, our Analyst would need to gather responses to the same questions during your call with us. Similarly, we would aim to cover key questions from the DDQ during our phone call in the absence of an online submission.

Since Step 3 of our listing process is triggered by the initiation of a Neudata Listing Questionnaire, to be listed without completing either questionnaire, you may contact us at info@neudata.co to arrange an Analyst call.

I THOUGHT I HAD ALREADY LISTED WITH NEUDATA - WHY CAN I NOT SEE ANY DATA PRODUCTS HERE?

The Product Questionnaires page only displays product information submitted via this portal.

If you have previously spoken to a Neudata Analyst or listed with us, this information will already be available to our clients through our client-facing Neudata Scout portal. For further details or to share product updates, please reach out directly to your Analyst contact.

I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM NEUDATA OR RECEIVED ANY INBOUND LEADS IN MONTHS - WHY IS THIS?

We cannot guarantee that our clients will contact you upon listing with us. The number of inbounds you receive will depend on client interest in your products.

As we have listed 1,000+ data providers to date, we do not typically reach out to providers unless we believe your listing is noticeably out-of-date.

That said, that doesn’t mean we don’t want to hear from you! We encourage you to share information on any product updates or launches so that we can pass this on to our clients - you can do so by:

  • updating/adding your product information via the Product Questionnaires page, or
  • getting in touch with your Neudata Analyst contact
WHO ARE NEUDATA’S SCOUT CLIENTS?

Our Neudata Scout clients currently include 70+investment managers, hedge funds, private equity firms, and venture capital firms in the US, Europe, Asia, and Australasia (as of 1Q21).

These clients have paid subscriptions that grant them access to our private Neudata Scout portal, which contains 1,000+ data product listings. They also utilise our advisory services on the alternative data market.

I DO NOT HAVE AN OFF-THE-SHELF DATA PRODUCT BUT PROVIDE BESPOKE WORK OR DATA SERVICES - CAN I STILL LIST WITH NEUDATA?

Yes, our clients are interested in data services and custom data offerings as well as off-the-shelf products.

  • Keep us updated on any product updates or new product launches - You can do so by: (a) updating your product information via the Product Questionnaires page, or (b) getting in touch with your Neudata Analyst contact.
  • Make the most of your ability to share supporting files with potential clients - We offer to pass on any files you share with us to our clients, so the more data dictionaries / marketing materials / case studies / proof-of-concepts you can put together to help demonstrate the value of your data products the better! Please share these files either via (a) the File Upload page on this portal, (b) email to your Neudata Analyst contact, or (c) email to dp-attachments@neudata.co.
  • Attend our events - By attending our events, you can build relationships with our clients in-person. We host large alternative data summits as well as more intimate seminars.
